Prices are still up everywhere, and for so many items – especially food. While the demand for food has grown dramatically, food donations and food rescue have actually decreased because the prices of groceries have increased so much.
Over the last two years since June of 2021, the number of households visiting PRC for food has more than doubled!
The cost for staples like tuna has increased 60% since summer of 2021.
The cost of peanut butter has increased a whopping 80% since summer of 2021.

Between the higher food prices and the increasing number of people visiting PRC, our overall costs continue to rise.
Every time a neighbor visits PRC, they can save as much as $170 on their groceries, which they can use to pay for other household needs.
