Our Social Services team works to provide a variety of referrals and information about resources at People’s Resource Center and in the broader DuPage County community to help meet client needs.
If you aren’t sure what resources exist in the community you are welcome to contact our team by phone, email or through the contact us button below.
We assist with public benefit applications for SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, Illinois Benefit Access, and Access DuPage.
Our department may also be able to provide vouchers for clothing, eye exams & eyeglasses, and other basic needs.
Emergency Financial Assistance
Emergency financial assistance is available from People’s Resource Center (PRC) on a limited basis for clients who are facing special hardships or unexpected needs, such as car repairs, utilities at risk of disconnection, and medical expenses. Our trained social services staff and volunteers work to connect clients to assistance from PRC or other area service providers.
