PRC Awarded Four-Stars by Charity Navigator

For the 12th year in a row, People’s Resource Center (PRC) has received the coveted 4-star ranking from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator. Receiving four out of a possible four stars means PRC is demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. This is Charity Navigator’s highest possible rating and indicates that PRC adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way.

Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that People’s Resource Center exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its area of work. Only 1% of the charities evaluated have received at least 12 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that PRC outperforms most other charities in America. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets People’s Resource Center apart from its peers.

At People’s Resource Center 92% of income goes to services for clients, including the Food Pantry, Clothes Closet, Emergency & Rent and Mortgage Assistance, and classes and instruction in Computers, Adult Learning and Literacy, Job Assistance and Art. In the last year, PRC assisted over 26,000 individuals. All programs are free and classes are offered throughout DuPage County.
