MAINTENANCE WORKER

Position Overview

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to hire a Maintenance Worker for the Chicago-Read Mental Health Center located in Chicago, Illinois to receive day-to-day guidance and assignments from the Chief Stationary Engineer. Performs a variety of manual semi-skilled labor in the maintenance and improvement of grounds, roadways, and parking lot at Chicago-Read Mental Health Center.  Moves furniture, equipment, and other articles within the Chicago-Read Mental Health Center.  Performs clean-up duties throughout the campus.  Removes and disposes of leaves and trash from Chicago-Reach Mental Health Center campus.  Plants Flowers and grass seed.  Maintains equipment.  Participates in all Department of Human Services (DHS) and Chicago-Read Mental Health Center mandatory training.
