For the 11th year in a row, People’s Resource Center (PRC) will “Stuff-A-Truck” with food for hungry neighbors.
On October 22, 2020, our new 20 ft. truck will park at Prairie Path Books along with a group of volunteers to collect the food from the community.
They will also be greeted by the “Stuff-A-Truck” mascot, Stuffy, who has been a mainstay of the food drive since its inception.
If you miss the truck, PRC also invites the public to donate food as part of the “Stuff-A-Truck” total. Donations can be dropped off at PRC Monday and Friday from 8:00am – 3:00pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
The goal of this food drive is to receive at least 10,000 pounds of food for the PRC Food Pantry. That amount of food feeds hungry families for a week. Last year, PRC received 15,000 pounds of food from “Stuff-A-Truck.”
