Meeting our Community's Needs - Neighbor to Neighbor

Help for job seekers

PRC provided job search assistance to nearly 400 DuPage neighbors last year.

Job Assistance

The Job Assistance program at People's Resource Center (PRC) helps unemployed residents of DuPage County find and keep a job.  We provide workshops and one-on-one job search coaching. We also partner with area employers to connect pre-screened, qualified candidates with employers seeking to hire.

To participate in PRC's Job Assistance program, you must register as a PRC client, attend an Orientation workshop, and make a commitment to follow through on a job search action plan.

What to Expect

When you attend a Job Assistance Program Orientation, you'll learn about our job search workshops and our Career Resource Center.  You'll also learn how you can connect with one of our job coaches. Job coaches are volunteers trained to help you with essential skills such as writing resume and cover letters, completing application forms, improving interview skills, finding job leads, and conducting internet job searches.
