The Job Assistance program at People's Resource Center (PRC) helps unemployed residents of DuPage County find and keep a job. We provide workshops and one-on-one job search coaching. We also partner with area employers to connect pre-screened, qualified candidates with employers seeking to hire.
To participate in PRC's Job Assistance program, you must register as a PRC client, attend an Orientation workshop, and make a commitment to follow through on a job search action plan.
How to Get Started
To get started, call PRC at 630-682-5402 ext. 333. Leave a message with your name and phone number, and someone will call you back to help you register for an Orientation session.
What to Expect
When you attend a Job Assistance Program Orientation, you'll learn about our job search workshops and our Career Resource Center. You'll also learn how you can connect with one of our job coaches. Job coaches are volunteers trained to help you with essential skills such as writing resume and cover letters, completing application forms, improving interview skills, finding job leads, and conducting internet job searches.
Twice a month, PRC hosts Job Club meetings. Job Club meetings are a place for job seekers to share encouragement with one another, hear from HR and industry professionals, and to exchange advice on the job search process. All PRC Job Assistance clients are invited to attend.
You can attend a Job Club meeting at these two locations:

Held the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 12:30pm
