Overview
The PRC Adult & Family Literacy Program develops English as a Second Language (ESL) and adult basic academic skills, improves opportunities for employment and self-sufficiency, and strengthens family and community relationships. As a result, the PRC clients participate more effectively in the larger community and society.
The program provides classroom, small group and one-on-one ESL instruction at a location and time convenient for students and volunteers. The flexibility inherent to this program allows exceptional assistance to those who might otherwise be unable to get training they need. The Literacy program also connects students to additional social services and educational opportunities.
