Job Description for
Computer Literacy Instructor
Basic Job Description Statement:
On a 6 week basis, be available at the training site to assist students in enhancing their computer skills and/or setting up a class or classes to develop skills in specific areas ( eg: computer basics, MS Word, Excel, etc, based upon the strengths of the instructor).
Specific Tasks:
- For 6 consecutive weeks, commit to being at the computer training site at the agreed upon day or week and time;
- Work with students on an individual basis, or in a group, depending upon the needs presented;
- Set up specific classes as indicated;
- Stay in close contact with the Class Administrator to receive updated information on new students entering and on reservations made;
- Provide feedback, as requested, to the Frank Goetz, Program Director of Computer Literacy Training and Access Program, at the Peoples Resource Center (PRC);
- Take responsibility for opening up site, doing any necessary straightening up after sessions and locking up site after sessions;
- Give freely and generously of your talents and skills so that others may eventually be equipped to enter or continue in the workforce.
