Challenges

• Attendance by students has been the primary problem
• Many students lack typing and keyboarding skills
• Many students are at the beginning level; some are advanced
• Students acquire skills at varying rates
• Motivation levels vary
• Most students have many needs that are more pressing than acquiring computer competence
