We must lay one brick at a time, take one step at a time.
But we can beg for an increase of love in our hearts that will vitalize and transform
all our individual actions, and know that God will take them and multiply them.

Welcome to the house you built!!
Our community raised $2.4 million dollars through the Building Hope and Opportunity campaign, and created the new People's Resource Center in downtown Wheaton.
Every year, we serve almost 20,000 people from all areas of DuPage County, helping them to meet their basic needs, and take some steps toward creating a better life for themselves and their families.
- All our central services and administration are under one roof;
- There are welcoming spaces throughout the building;
- A large, ground-level market-style Food Pantry offers total customer choice, including fresh, refrigerated and frozen foods;
- People gather in our Megan Bradshaw Learning Center, to gain English-language skills, work on their GED or citizenship;
- A glassed-in Tellabs Computer Technology Center houses classes, and individual space for people to use the internet, and work on job searches;
- Each month, 100 computers are reconditioned and distributed to families for their homes;
- Our Clothes Connection provides free, seasonal clothing for infants to adults;
- The PRC Arts Studio has art classes and self-expression gatherings for people of all ages;
- Our Walk-in Resource Center offers expedited applications for emergency housing assistance, access to health care, and food stamps.
As people of faith, we know that God has a vision for the People's Resource Center, and for each one of us. God was in that first spark of imagination that Dorothy McIntyre and Fr. Tom Peyton had as they took the step to open a food pantry in 1975.
Today, we trust in that vision to help us to move forward into the challenges and uncertainties that lie ahead, in our community and in our world.
