35 for 35!
To kick-off its 35th year of helping neighbors in need in DuPage County, the People's Resource Center (PRC) announces a way for citizens to participate in the celebration: “35 for 35.”
“35 for 35” asks supporters to do food drives for 35 items and donate them to the PRC food pantry. It’s a great way to get scout troops, church groups and schools involved in the process. Families are encouraged to participate as well. Food can be canned, refrigerated or fresh, like vegetables and fruits.
“The People’s Resource Center has always been about the community coming together to help others and the “35 for 35” is a great way for everyone to get involved. All of us working together can really make a difference for struggling families,” said Melissa Travis, the Food Services Director at the People’s Resource Center.
